One night I was driving to a studio session and this song's subject popped into my head. I really liked it bc it was just the stuff I was thinking of at that time. By the time I arrived at the studio, I realized the reoccurring theme was the word "sometimes". Months later I dug up the ideas I jotted down that night and actually wrote a verse to a new beat I had laying around that I really wanted to use (this beat). Originally I was going to use a more light-hearted beat bc the stuff I'm saying is kinda fucked up yet true... buuuut then I wrote the song to this beat and recorded it on the spot and was like, "Fuck it, this shit is dope."
